Corporal Harold Bach, World War II Veteran, 791st Quartermasters Trucking Company, he is 96 years old and is the last living survivor of his company of 100 soldiers. The glass plate is being accepted by the Historical Society of North Dakota into their permanent archive. A copy of Harold's memoirs "Memories of the Depression, World War II, and Happier Years" will also accompany the plate. 8x10" black glass ambrotype in the wet plate collodion process. Carl Zeiss Tessar 300mm lens, 12 second exposure. It is an honor to capture this portrait for his family.

We must all realize that we are losing 550 World War II veterans a day and we must thank them and cherish them while they are still with us.
