Dave Archambault II and Frank White Bull in Wet Plate, March 23rd, 2016

My series "Northern Plains Native Americans: A Modern Wet Plate Perspective" for the Historical Society of North Dakota is well on its way.  The goal is to capture 50 large black glass ambrotypes of different tribal members from all over the state.  Yesterday I had the honor of having Dave Archambault II the Tribal Chairman for the Standing Rock Sioux and his friend Frank White Bull, a fabulous local photographer.  We only had an hour together in studio but in that time we were able to capture two wet plates for the Heritage Center.
