I have just been formally notified that my wet plate "Eternal Field" of Ernie LaPointe, Great Grandson of Chief Sitting Bull, is now archived on the North Dakota State Historical Societies website. They are in possession of the original 8x10" black glass ambrotype and it is part of their permanent collection. Now they have indexed it online for future generations. I cannot describe the joy that this brings me. Thank you each and every one of you who have supported my journey in collodion, you know who you are. To think that my great great grandchildren can go to Heritage Center many years from now and request to see my original work is beyond my wildest dreams.
