In 1881, Orlando Goff took the very first wet plate of Chief Sitting Bull here in Bismarck, North Dakota.  133 years later, I had to pleasure to take a wet plate image of his Great Grandson Ernie LaPointe.  My 8x10 black glass wet plate of Ernie entitled "Eternal Field" has been accepted into the North Dakota Historical Society Archives indefinitely and will be protected and shared for generations to come.
