Monte Yellow Bird, Sr. "Black Pinto Horse", Arikara Hidatsa, in the wet plate collodion process. Plate #11 for the series "Northern Plains Native Americans: A Modern Wet Plate Perspective" for the State Historical Society of North Dakota. Monte is a celebrated artist. In 2012 he did this ledger art depicting a 19th century photographer taking a couples plate, it is called "Watch the Birdie". I now have a print in my studio.
